brooder SIZE????

I have 4 embden and 2 brown Chinese arriving from metzer farms in a couple of days. Ive constructed a 4 x 5 brooder with 4 ft walls and a poultry wire top for opening and closing. Can anyone tell me if this size is adequate

Is this brooder indoors or out?

How long do you plan on keeping them in this brooder?

Its inside my shop. And no longer than neseccery

I'm constructing a 150ft x 150ft intermediate run. Then hopefully they will get free run on an acre front yard.

I'm not putting them in the run full time until they are completely feathered

Just discovered that geese are as bad as dogs about digging holes in the yard.
