I really want chickens personally (I have a whole binder of chicken coop plans)Well I just don't want to make the neighbors mad
Have you spoke with your neighbors? I can see how that is a serious concern. Do you have any limits on chickens? Live with an HOA?Well I just don't want to make the neighbors mad
Chickens are allowed. Not an HOA neighborhood. Plus their house is like 15ish feet away from our property line and chicken coops must be 3 feet from the property line... things will be pretty spaced out. Plus they don't leave the house a whole lotHave you spoke with your neighbors? I can see how that is a serious concern. Do you have any limits on chickens? Live with an HOA?

Does it matter if I use a chick feeder or not?https://www.mypetchicken.com/catalo...ing-Chick-Feeder-and-Waterer-Combo-p3166.aspx Do you think this is a good feeder/waterer?
Yes! Great way to reduce water and feed mess as well as poop in the water and feed.https://www.mypetchicken.com/catalo...ing-Chick-Feeder-and-Waterer-Combo-p3166.aspx Do you think this is a good feeder/waterer?
No it doesn't, just as long as the chicks can't get their entire bodies into the food and water or spill a lot all at once, it doesn't matter. Full-sized chicken feeders/waters do tend to much larger and take up a lot of space in the brooder, if space is an issue. As great as that Mypetchicken feed and water combo is, it is a bit pricier than more basic styles of waterers and feeders. I use the type that screws onto a mason jar. They are messier but much cheaper.Does it matter if I use a chick feeder or not?
Well, I don't have a stock tank level size but I have like a garage storage container... Do you think that's enough space for 3-4 chicks? Plus waterer, feeder, cozy coop heater? No it doesn't, just as long as the chicks can't get their entire bodies into the food and water or spill a lot all at once, it doesn't matter.
