Brooder to coop help

Hi! My chicks are 3 weeks old and running out of room in our brooder. Is it too young to switch them to the coop? It isn’t getting below 50 degrees Fahrenheit here.

But you can get a big tub and put them all in there with food and water and a heat lamp and they should be fine

That’s fine but what is the appropriate age to move? We only have one chicken left in our coop at the moment

They are in a big storage tub now. But there are 6 of them and space is running out lol

you can move them out about the age of 1 month

We moved ours into the coop at 5 weeks and they did great. Actually, we have a breeder where we live that raises and keeps them until 5 weeks so they are “coop ready”.

Time to make a bigger brooder.
My 5 are just 2 weeks and I’m thinking about the next move...maybe transferring them from the plastic tote to a dog crate maybe from like 3-5 weeks then to the coop once the weather breaks and they get feathered.
