silkies and cochins are widely considered to be the best broodies, sometimes silkies are broody more than they even lay eggs!
I have had many other breeds go broody, including Marans, Wyandotte, Faverolles, and Welsummer. basically as long as you don't get production bred hatchery hens who have had the broodiness bred out of them systematically, they may go broody from time to time.
