I have several hens ranging in ages and breeds, over all the flock is under 3 years old. I have continued to leave the ceramic eggs that I used to show the younger pullets the nest boxes. Am I bringing out the broodiness of my hens by leaving in these fakes? It seem like they are broody quite often. Like I said they range in breeds from RI to some Spanish Games and most everything else.

No---a hen will go broody if she wants to. They'll sit on turds if they are so inclined.
