Brooding Barred Rock

My Barred Rock is brooding. All of my chickens lay in the same box. I want to push her out and grab the eggs. Will this hurt her or stress her. Will she fight for them? I do not want to hurt her but need to get the eggs.

If you don't want her to brood the eggs, just get them. It's o.k. We all do it. If she's trying to peck you, you can just cover her face with one hand and get the eggs with the other hand. If you don't want her to brood, you might also put her in a wire bottom cage for a day or so to help her cool down.
