Brooding hen

My hen has been on her eggs for three weeks. No babies are hatching. Does anyone know why , she has been a great brooder.

Just now 3? Could be a couple more days. You could candle a couple to see of they are viable. Do it at night.

Okay, Ill give her a couple of days. I may buy some chicks for her.

I had broodys hatch on day 26. I would candle and see if they are alive. If so leave them another week. Don't buy chicks til you candle cuz she may abandon eggs that could be alive.
