Two questions.
How do I move a broody hen?
And can to two brood hens(with two chicks each) live in the same space?
Thanks

It is best to move a broody during the night when she is calm and sleepy.Have your broody coop/cage or wherever you're going to put her set up, make sure she has food, water and i like to include a tub of loose dirt so she can take a dust bath whenever she likes but thats up to you. You can either move the broody first or the eggs first, i like to move the eggs first so that she isnt overwhelmed by being in a new place and also having her eggs taken away. Once you move the eggs, leave the hen beside them, (not on top of them, you don't want her to crush them) and let her be for ten minutes, if when you go back she isnt on the nest, place her on it yourself and cover her with a blanket, she will most likely settle down. I just moved two broodies today and i didnt have any problems, plus i did it in the daytime because i am unable to do it tonight. Every broody is different and you can never be sure how she is going to react, i wouldnt be worried though, most of them are quite easy.
No, i wouldnt advise it. Only if they were broody together and are now raising the chicks together but i dont think thats the case. I have never tried it so i cant be sure but i have heard lots of people say not to do it.
Hope i helped, good luck! :)

Kfyffe123 I don't think so, if you want a better answer you should make your own thread, that way all the answers are in one place and it makes things more simple for you.
