Brooding Mallard hen

Hi! I'm a new member too. Wanting to know about a Mallard hen nesting in my flowerbed.

lol. This is my first experience. Kind of excited about it. I was hoping someone could help me with some info. She's been brooding for a little over 2 weeks now, and, this past Thursday morning, she was attacked by a raccoon. She got away, and thankfully, no eggs were damaged. I did put a deterrent device close by. Is there anything else I can do to protect her?

Motion activated stobe w/predator sounds. In this case, cougar.
