Racoons are the nastiest persistent creatures to get rid of. Do you live in town? perhaps animal control can help, they may be able to put out some live traps and relocate the racoons.

They won't come for the sake of a duck. (I've tried 2 already) They say "let nature take its course." I simply can't comply with that. I am constantly watching her. Force of habit now...lol. I'll try a few more places to see if they can possibly set traps.Racoons are the nastiest persistent creatures to get rid of. I know what you mean, you are correct in what you say. Our animal rescue is so full of cats and dogs they won't except anything. The warden that works for the sheriff department brought us a 25lb. bag of cat food for rescuing a cat during the winter. We are blessed to have her for a warden. The Duke traps are not for those week at heart as you have to dispose of the animal you catch. I can't think of anything to do other than trying to find a trapper as you have already said. They won't come for the sake of a duck. (I've tried 2 already) They say "let nature take its course."
