My barred rock hen has been brooding now for, oh, probably 2 months at my best estimate. At first, I tried to put some fertilized eggs under her, hoping they'd hatch, but it turns out she's a bad mom. Well, she never stopped setting and now I'm wondering if she's ever going to stop brooding. I don't remember any of my ladies brooding this long last year. The ladies are all 2 years old this summer. What do you guys think is going on?
