how to get one ?any good breeds that go broodry?

Silkies are very broody. They are often used to hatch other breeds & 1 guy I know uses them to incubate his pheasant eggs.

Buff Orpingtons go Broody easy....

You can get more eggs under a Buff Orpington...

Yes Buff orps fit more eggs underneath, though dont let her sit on silky eggs, she is too big!!
If you want to hatch silkies, get a silky hen!!
Ive had both breeds, Goldilocks my buff orp is 16 years old and still goes broody , God Love her!
What type of eggs are you going to hatch?
