my broody just abandoned her eggs. She had sixteen of them under her. It’s day 17. Not sure when she got off the nest. About 5 pm she was off the nest eating and getting a drink. Not sure if she ever did get back on them. I checked them about 10pm and she was up on the roost with everyone else. I shoved them under my other broody but not sure if that’s going to work. The other broody’s eggs are about five days behind the first. And also my nest boxes are 3 or so feet off the ground. I haven’t candles them. This is my first broodys so I just tried not to mess with them much.
