Broody agitated,set to hatch tomorrow-so worried!

My broodies are set to hatch next Thursday or Friday - We'll see what I get

I am waiting for my broody hen (first time) to hatch hers any time ! I lost track when she first sat on them so I estimate June 4th. I worry about how long will be too long after she hatch some babies. some of the eggs may not be fetilized. and dont want stinky eggs !!

I thought my Candy would never do it!! I checked on her this morning and I had 3 little black heads poke out! My daughter wanted to go out now and double check and we have another little baby!!

We have a seven eggs left and a couple look to be pipped (I didn't look at the eggs, but looked at the pictures). I am so tickled and my daughter (4 years) is so excited!!!!

That's what I thought too! The other thing is the roo was a RIR, the hens were RIR, BSL, and BR. The one chick looks like a BR!! I was told that this is impossible! Can't wait to see what it looks like in a few weeks!!

This morning one of my hens killed one baby chickie, maybe killed another ..

I am so sorry thebanthams, maybe you should keep the chicks away from the hens?
