broody and egg shells?

What does the broody momma do with the egg shells after the babies hatch? I'm wondering if I need to clean out the nest for her or wait until I move her and the babies to their brooder.

Yes, you will need to clean up after the hatch. If you buy trays, or cut out the bottom

of a card-board box, and set it in the bottom of the nest box, Then set bedding inside

the tray or card-board box, clean-up will be easier.

Ok, thanks for the info. I'll take out the shells as they hatch to make things easier, and (maybe) less messy later.
