Hi, I have a bantam hen that went REALLY broody. Instead of breaking her broodieness I let her think she was setting on fertile eggs then went to the feed store for chicks and during the night switched the eggs for the chicks

. I was wondering if now that she has gone broody and ended up with chicks will she go broody again once these two chicks are grown. Any help is appreciated!

I would guess, yes, she will continue to go broody periodically. What breed is she (some are more prone to it than others)?

If you don't want her having new chicks each time, check out the broody buster threads...there's an especially helpful one I've read about using a buster box.

@NorthFLChickThx... She is an Old English Game Bantam. I am going to read those threads soon! :)

You're welcome, hope it helps you out like it has for an especially stubborn Black Australorp we have. That little gal will stay in a nesting box until she's wore out if we let her. This is the thread I read about making a buster, how long to leave them in, etc. Very helpful to us since we don't have fertile eggs or a roo:
