Broody bantam!

Here’s a pic from today. I’ve been playing with the idea of hybrids that can be feather sexed, and I believe this is a Wyandotte/ameraucana cross, so if I’m right then it’s a female, and we won’t have to worry about rehoming.

Egg number wise, my Cochin bantam had 5 bantam eggs under her constantly, but also normally had at least 2 standards under her that had been laid that day and you couldn't tell until you lifted her up. She can also keep 8 chicks pretty much under her

But she also has way more fluff than most breeds, so that mau make numbers quite different
