I have two bantam hens sat on an egg each in the same next box gone broody

Its only the two of them in their arc and as they dont share with a cockeral I have made sure the two eggs they are sat on are fertilised ( well hope so anyway ! ) is this okay or will they start to attack one another if the eggs hatch ? should I seperate them now ?

What breed are the hens? Some are less aggressive than the others. If they are silkies, I'd let them both sit. With a lot of other breeds, however, I would pick the best suited mother. The one who is most aggressive with her eggs. The one who won't leave to eat. The one who turns the eggs more often. The fatter one. All potentially play a role in my decision making.. IMO

One is a black silkie and the other is a little brown booted bantam , I am wondering wether to seperate them tonight as I have a spare little pen incase it might get a bit frantic in there

they have been together since chicks and always got along
