Broody birds

I want a bird that will go broody ones a year. Will a turkey? I've been interested in quail and guinea fowl but can't find if they can go broody. I would like to no what breeds are broody not just the animals I have chickens ducks and turkeys and so far my chickens are my best broodys!

If you want a bird that will go broody every year, I would look into Silkies, Cochins, and Orpingtons. I only know about chickens though.

I would love to have silkies but I've got six and all I've got has been roosters and I can't find any sexed ones. Maybe someone sells adults? But I could try cochins or orpingtons! Maybe those come sexed?

Yup. I believe they do come sexed. Silkies may be harder to keep with other breeds anyways.
