I am planning on setting up a broody box for my hens that I am making out of a large plastic dog crate and wire kennel. My question primarily is where to place it? I have an 8' x 10' coop with an attached outdoors run for the girls and Albert to hang out in when they are not free-ranging the back yard. I have room inside the coop to be able to stick it into a corner so any of them using it will be out of the way of the others, but wonder if this might cause a problem. Do I need to keep it completely separate from the other nesting boxes and their evening roost? I'd appreciate any assistance to this problem that you all could offer. Thanks, Dondo
