Broody but no eggs

One of my hens has gone broody. The concern I have is she has no eggs under her and I felt her and she has one ready to be layed.(been 2 days already) Will she lay this egg while broody. I have other hens and wouldn't mind her brooding a hatch, but with that egg halfway developed will it hurt her. Should I force her out of her brood mode.

PS This is actually my first post, but since any questions I've had have already been answered (THANKS) I never needed to post. Great forum!!!!

She won't lay eggs while she's broody. It's either; broody, molt or lay. If it has been only 2 days you can take the egg out. And if you want to hatch put all the eggs in at the same time.
