broody buttercup--up-date from injured chicken list

--i first posted that butter cup might be egg bound---but she is a confirmed broody hen..

..right now this old poop is like an expectant father-

- i built her a very nice 4 x4 broody box with straw inside to help keep her warm--and nice thick layer alfala hay in the nest box-she has a fresh water bowl and a food dish with some treats in it---i put this in the dog kennel away from the other 2 coops-----yesterday i finally did manage to find some fertlized eggs . { i hope }

..the guy i got them from has 2 roos and about 40 hens -i hope the roos did their job---but the two dozen he gave me were too much , i think---soo i only put 14 in the nest and she went right to it and started sitting .

, what was really nice , i did this while it was still light out--she never once tried to peck or bite me---just a soft grumble..

..i do hope that at least 4 or 5 of the eggs are fertlized .
