hi all I have a broody silkie and was wondering if this cage would work as a broody cage. Problem is as you can see it does not have a wire bottom. The bottom is wood and I'm afraid she would still nest on the wood
I've heard the wire allows air flow to come under them and help cool them off. I'm afraid the wood wouldn't work. What do you think? This is my only cage . do you think its good enough to work as a broody cage even with the wood bottom? Any tips on breaking a broody is much appreciated! She's all puffed up sitting on her imaginary eggs.Any help is appreciated! Thanks
