Thanks Rio_Lindo_97, Chickenfeet, katylester and TennesseeTruly!
Chris, he's actually a boy.
I might work on heated cat beds, but I already made this for them last week:
White Maine Coon: Charlotte (girl)
Gray and White Maine Coon: Prairie (polydactyl girl)
Other Black Kitty: Gigi (boy)
They are gonna have to wait for a few weeks before I make them something new. I'm working on my quail hutch right now! And my new brooders for the baby chicks.
I know my girls would eat a chick, no questions asked. I wonder about my dear Dar though. He once caught a mouse and kept it away from the other cats until I could come and retrieve it. I won't be plopping any chicks down in front of him in order to find out, though!
But they sure are cute, and eeeevil!
Volume904, exactly! I have to initiate hide and seek with a certain kind of jump, and then he knows he's in for it.
Gosh, I am overwhelmed, jealous and all those jealous words inbetween. . .I know this is a crazy ?, but how does the hen know about the humidity? Temp, yes, but how does she keep the humidity right? Does the weather have something to do with it? You did an awesome job, and this shows why it is EXACTLY why you keep extra stuff. . . I have a TV entertainment center that I want to get rid of, and was going to give it to someone, but NOT anymore . . . no way . . .I have an idea!!! (we need a smilie with a light bulb going off over his head!!!)
My girls aren't laying yet, but I've heard that when a hen goes broody, she plucks all of the feathers off her tummy area. Can someone verify if this is correct? Skin to egg contact would have to generate some kind of humidity.
Thanks!! Now go build yourself an "entertaining" incubator!!
That sounds like a really nifty 'bator in the making! I wanna see pics!
Great work all around. Just on thing that seems out of place... that real cheap Hooverbator thermometer. I found they are garbage. I like the remote digital that you also have.
Overall...You rock!
