Broody chicken hatching turkey eggs? okay?

Well I have two bourbons that have begun to lay. I stuck 3 eggs under a broody chicken about a week and half ago, checked them today and none grew. Maybe I don't know what a fertile turkey egg looks like when cracked open lol... (first year with turkeys) but isn't the same as chicken a dot with a ring around it???

Anyways, can chickens not brood turkeys out?

Chickens CAN hatch fertile turkey eggs. I put turkey eggs under my chickens all the time.
