I got a male Texas A&M roo ( have heard him crow and he is my only roo) I have him with a golden cortnix hen and bob whites, and 5 ring neck pheasants while the bobs and cortnix where lay eggs in the same nest then he started sitting he has been constant for the last 2.5 weeks rain or shine he turns the eggs and sits and cortnix quail are polynomials(which means the will breed with more than on hen) why do I always get the wired animals and he can fly most cortnix have poor flying ability

Can any tell me why

Thanks

Ohh how cute! If the hen won't do it, I guess he just realized he had to do it himself ^^ But 2½ weeks is in the high end of the usual hatching time for coturnix eggs.. So unless you get chicks pretty soon, maybe the eggs aren't fertile and he could be a crowing hen or something strange? But I guess he might still be able to hatch the bobwhite eggs..
