Broody Coturnix Quail

I believe I have a broody coturnix quail! I'm a bit in disbelief. I have far too many roosters (3 mature, 2 cockerels) and only 3 hens. Yet one of my hens became broody with 20 eggs under her!!

we aren't experienced with broodiness but if she is broody then if you want her to hatch any eggs you should place food and water near her so she doesn't have to get up to eat and drink.

Food and water is just a foot away from her. I do want her to hatch some chicks. I can see progress in the eggs!

My Coturnix also started digging and collecting eggs but I didn't allow, we ate the eggs, put her outside in the backyard and with the change of environment she stopped being broody.
