Broody Coturnix with a twist

I found this pair sitting on a couple of eggs today, but they didn’t stay there lol

My Male buttonquail co-sits on the eggs with my hen! 4 days left!!! he sits on them with her, but when she gets off to get some food/water he sits on them!!!

11 of 13 eggs have hatched and number 12 is actively zipping. That means he has a better succes rate then me.

I find this to be absolutely beautiful. I love when the make and female brood together. My quail have never went broody. My male usually just supports the females when they are in egg labor but that's all.
