Hi! My duck Graham Quacker has been sitting on eggs for two days and she gets up once to come eat and drink and then goes back up there and sits on her little nest.

I think she’s broody,but I’ve never had a broody anything. Lol

Can anyone help me? If so thank you so so so much!

Does she puff up her feathers flatten herself and hiss or growl at you when you come near her?

Is she in a coop with more ducks or poultry? Is so
If she is broody I'd Make a spot so she can brood separate from the flock. Such as a crate or small coop. Make her cozy and so she feels safe ke she wont brood. What I do is give fake eggs and if she sits for 3 days good then I give eggs.

She does puff up and she does flatten herself out,but I’ve been told they only leave the nest for a couple minutes to eat really fast and drink. She leaves for 5-10 minutes and swims in her pool and hangs with the drake and then she goes back.

She is sitting on 2 eggs and they are real, but every time I go over there she hears me and leaves her nest. I don’t bother her very much she just does that.

She leaves 2 times a day usually. And she does what I have told you.

I so so so so so wish she would sit.

@wvchickenchick311 , I am exactly the same as your situation. Today one duck was under a little bush the whole day (they free range). It's outside their coop and I don't want to leave her outside but I really want her to hatch out some ducklings! I am worried I'll break her broodiness if I move her because it's only been a day. She hisses and yells when I come near - and she is usually my friendliest duck!
