broody eggs

I put 4 eggs under one of my broody girls to check fertility with my roos.Candled and all 4 are cooking.Today is 1wk.

i had 2 dozen eggs from my dad's rir flock in bator and not one of them hatched so I was dead set on hatchin some chicks

I have 7 mutts under my broody white rock and they are doin great! they are from a mixed flock
1 barred rock
1 leghorn
and 6 rir

all fertilized by my barnyard cross roo

cool! good Luck on your hatch as well.My eggs are all mutts too.But they sure are cute.This will be the second batch of chicks for this broody this summer.
