I have a broody hen and I was on vacation and one of the egs cracked and got all over I couldn't clean the eggs for 4 days do you think any of the eggs are alive.

You could try getting a torch and looking in at the embryo?

They probably are. I had an egg break in the nest this spring and I just scraped the egg yolk off instead of washing them because I didn't want to wash off the natural protective covering from the eggs. But as the above poster mentioned, you could candle them to see if they're alive.

They hatch tomoro crossing my fingers

I tryed candling a couple days ago and they were very dark couldnt see the vein is this a good thing

Idk I've never done it before, I just heard that you could tell if there was an embryo by doing it

Looks like one is trying to hatch do they all hatch at the same time?

There is on that is pipping has a small crack but havent heared it is that normal?
