Got 4 broodies within 3 weeks. The first one was a bust for several reasons.
3 weeks later she was broody again. I decided to let her have another chance. After almost weeks of sitting on fake eggs, I out under her 6 hatchery chicks. I did it at night and progressively as recommended.
This is morning and I'm not sure she knows she is NOT sitting on eggs anymore. The chicks are all alive, but she is not clucking to them and kind of pecked a little at them when I took them from underneath her to make sure all were alive.
Should I worry yet?
