Broody... hatch day tomorrow.

As of this morning we have 7 and it looks like a few more are on the way... pic when they are out with mama. Day 23 and she is still sitting... 5 more eggs to hatch

Pic of a few.... got home and mama got off the nest three eggs left one was piped. I handled one stopped developing early. The other two fully developed.. started eggtopsy and the piped one was still alive.. the third didnt have movement but I thought maybe a small movement. Put them under a heat light monitoring temp. Both are alive... now we wait and see. If they both make it 11 out of 12 hatched for her.

Aww! My broody hatched out 10/12 chicks in early April. They are five weeks today. I ended up with five boys and five girls. I love it when broodys do all of the hard work!

Update of what most my duck eggs are doing now.

Chicken eggs are due to hatch this weekend if they do. Their shells have always been to thick to see through.

2 little ones are doing great and back with mama.. 11 out of 12 hatch...
