Broody hatch setup- Will it work?

So she was not accepting them there. So I moved them to the coop. I put her there and set the eggs by her. She rolled them under her as soon as I put them there. I marked them so they don't get mixed up.

Please don't allow her to hatch eggs unless you have a plan for the cockerels.

When can I candle them for the first time?

You can candle them the minute that they come out of the chickens backside, but you won't likely see anything interesting for a couple of days. (I usually wait five days)

You can candle as early as day 3 but I think day 5-7 is a good time frame.

The darker the egg the harder it is to candle and you should wait longer. Just my opinion
