For the second time i have a broody hen hatching eggs.
My question - By lifting the broody to look at the chicks and see what is going on, am i causing problems for the chicks still in the egg due to losing heat and humidity?? I have hatched in an bator and understand that the lid should stay on to keep heat and humidity in. Does the super powers of the broody overpower this?
