Broody hen 2nd time in 2 months

In May one of my hens went broody. Now she appears to be at it again! Is it normal for them to go broody so often. She appears to be a RIR even though she's supposed to be a Golden Sex-link. She's 10 mo. old.

There really isn't a normal, it's an individual thing. Most RIR's don't go broody at all, and I don't think sex links usually do, either.

I've got a cochin who has a long-term lease on a nest box. If there's no snow on the ground, she's broody.
