Thanks everyone for the advice as far as broody hens and such! I thought I’d post a little update.

Tuesday night (I was way to tired Monday lol) I set up a pen inside the run connected to a crate. Put the hen in with some eggs-the one I thought was broody wasn’t so went with broody hen number three (thanks @Ridgerunner ). Then I waited to make sure she pushed them back under her and settled down before going back up to the house and grabbing 5 chicks.

As soon as she heard the babies chirping momma started clucking back :love and when I put them in she automatically started trying to get them under her!

I grabbed the other 9 and she accepted those too! She looked a bit overwhelmed at first by the influx of ‘hatched’ babies but after a few moments she had gotten them all quiet and settled down under her.

She’s momming all 14 like a pro! Everyone looks happy and healthy. I’m very excited!

1st pick is Wednesday around 6am (morning after introducing)
2nd is that afternoon
The last 3 are this morning
