Filled the inside with shavings and built a nest in the back...and placed the cage next to where she is nesting. When it got completely dark I took a blanket and covered my hen...picked her up and moved her to one side...I carefully moved all 10 eggs into the "new nest". I then moved my hen (with the blanket still on her) onto the nest...made sure she was calm...then shut the door and left the blanket draped over the door.

I would go for the dog crate. And the dark. I usually move the broody hen to my bedroom when it is close to hatching time so I can watch. I have moved a lot of broody hens and if they are put on their eggs in the dark they will stay by the time its daylight.
I've found when moving a broody w/eggs (and yes, in the dark is best) it should be a very low-key event... also have found that if you gently hold her tummy down on the eggs until she calms a bit and feels the eggs, that feeling them on her rummy seems to settle her.
Excellent! Congratulations to you and your hen! Leave them all undisturbed for another day or two. Momma hen will tell you when there is no more hope of more hatching.
