Broody hen and starter feed?

Nope, she doesn't need anything else. A hen sitting on eggs will not lay. She will most likely eat her own feed when she and the chicks have moved outside, but when that happens make sure that she has oyster shell available just in case.

I have 9 eggs under a broody and 13 in an incubator. Today is day 21. 1 egg from the incubator has hatched and 4 other pips in the incubator so far. Hoping my broody takes to the incubator chicks also.
