broody hen bullied

One hen has gone broody and ive let her be with a few eggs. She did get down to eat the other day and all the other girls ran her out and tore at her head and chased her. Why do they do this? If she doesnt stop brooding am i going to have to seperate her?

thats what i was hoping. They leave her be in the nest except they still insist on sitting on top of her bacause no matter what i do they lay in the same box
