I got out the camera's box, and found a "USB cord." It has zero directions on how to use it. Found the place to hook it on to the computer and camera, but nothing happens. I'm going to search the web to find out how to use this thing... BTW, I now have 32 keets!!!

My brother uploaded the pics onto my computer!!! I'm soooooo excited, I've wanted to learn how to do this for so long! I now have 33 keets, and a couple more on the way... Here's pics:

Here's the newest three, born since this morning (the middle one's resting, he JUST hatched

Ok everyone, what do I do now. It's day 23 and nothing hatched

I put three of my (now) week old babies under her late last night. I added one just for fun this afternoon. Still sitting on 6 eggs and nothing - no pips, zips, peeps or anything. I've got 6 more babies in the brooder in another room- a week to 9 days old or so.

She's accepted the babies ok. Of course they are eating and drinking fine, since they've been doing it on their own for a week. Then they hide out under her wings.

SO, what would you do?

I have read that it can take up to 26 days for hatching, so hold off a couple more days, then if nothing, toss and start over sadly!

My silkie hen is sitting on 5 eggs and is due the 23rd... and guess what? we have PIPS!!!

I would suggest ..... either leave her the eggs or the chicks; but not both. She will need to get up and take care of the chicks, and she will leave the eggs. Or, she may do the opposite and not take care of the chicks and continue sitting (though unlikely). However, she may begin pecking at the chicks, also. Just alot of possibilities. Just my opinion. If it is day 23, I would take the eggs out and check them, and probably toss them out before they explode. (Note: It has happened to me!
