Broody Hen...Has Anyone Had Luck Introducing Baby Chicks At Night?

I have a broody hen. Last year she hatched chicks and was an incredable Mom. She is broody again and the farm store has baby chicks. Has anyone ever introduced baby chicks at night with any success?

That is the best way to do it if they're day olds or really young. She'll have all nite to bond with them. I have done it. Maybe someone else will post with their experiences with that. Good luck.

I just did this Sunday night and it was very successful! I placed 20 Cornish X chicks under a White Rock broody and today they are a family. So cute to see all those little yellow faces peeking out of momma's feathers and I could have sworn that she gave me a dirty look, as if to say, "TWENTY?????? !!!!! I went to sleep with TWELVE eggs!"
