Broody hen hatching eggs - to move high nest to ground or not?

Hello, I am new to hatching eggs. I have a very broody hen - a blue Orpington, and I got seven fertile eggs for her to incubate, hatch, and raise. Her favorite nesting box is in the coop, several feet off the ground. I feel like this is not ideal for chicks - so I am trying to relocate her to a nest on the ground in the shed, which would be better for the chicks when/if they come. So far she is not taking to the new nest. Is it better and safer to leave her in the high nest and then move her once they hatch? Will the eggs fall out of the box? chicks fall? I don't know if she will take to the new nest - so far she is not happy with it.
thanks,
Carrie

I'd put a lip on the nest so that the eggs can not fall out. Allow her to hatch the chicks there and move her immediately once they have hatched.
