Broody hen hatching eggs

Ok thanks! She currently has her own little place for her nest. It’s blocked off from the other nesting boxes and the other chickens can’t get in so she should be good.
You may want to think of the next place for her once all the chicks hatch. They will need space to run and eat and still use mom for heating. This may help you not get too impatient with waiting to hear those little peeps. It is so hard to wait!!! I can't wait to see pictures!

I know right! I’m already way too excited! I have an old coop that could work. It doesn’t have a pen around it but the coop itself is a good size. It’ll need fixed up a bit but that’ll be a good distraction from waiting for the eggs to hatch.

You will defiantly be checking on mom hourly at most, just to see if you hear anything!
I've always had broody hens and their chicks still within the same coop as the rest of the flock so I don't have to worry about integration later on and how the rest of the flock will react. Hopefully someone has experience with separating a mom into a different coop for some time.

Ok. I’ll try to block off a space for them so they can still be around the other hens. I hate the stress of introducing new chickens so that sounds like the best option. Thanks for the advice!
