Broody hen issues

Last week my girl Pearl started sitting on a clutch of eggs. I immediately removed the eggs from her and she seemed to return back to her normal self a day later. However, yesterday when I went to let my chickens out, I noticed that there were white feathers everywhere. Today it was worse. I noticed that Pearl’s underside is getting a little bare. What can I do to stop this? Thanks!

I’d also like to note that she hasn’t layed any eggs in awhile. She’s free range, so she could be possibly hiding them from me.

do your have a wire dog crate find a ways to put air under her skirts I had the crat from a tree limb for a day.. they do not lay when broody

Is she still broody? She has been hanging out with the other girls all week.

sure would not hurt may break the broody faster if you do .. they will complain but do not let her out maybe 2 days

when you let her out if she runs back to the nest it was too soon

How old is she because I have the same thing and she isn't broody so this is a thread that I need to follow.
