Broody hen lockdown

I have a broody hen who will be in her last 3 days starting Friday. I have been gently lifting her off the nest everyday to collect the "extra eggs" she goes right back on the nest. Should I just leave the extra eggs the last 3 days and discard them after hatch?

I'd try to arrange things so that other hens do not have access to her nest for the last 3 days. They may inadvertently crush pipping eggs or even kill hatching chicks.
