In the Brooder
One of my hens, who already hatched a chick in May, is broody again. Since we don't want anymore chicks, we've been checking her daily for eggs and the one egg we found under her, we took. That egg was found several weeks ago and she hasn't sat on any others, but she's still broody.
Is there a way to snap her out of it? Egg production for us has been fairly low since she has gone broody--including her, I have 4 laying hens, one of which JUST started laying (her baby from May), one of which is heavily into her molt, and one that is currently raising chicks and therefore isn't laying.
Thank you!
