Broody Hen No Eggs

I have a hen who has been broody all summer, but has yet to hatch eggs. She just lost her last batch 3 days ago and will not get off the nest. I am sure she gets up to eat but not much. My question is any idea how long she can stay on a empty nest? Do I need to make her get up for her sake?

She should get tired of sitting on an empty nest. Or you could buy some fertilized eggs and put them under her at night.

I just pick my chicken up and take it out side when it goes in there, until it gets bored. Or you can but some fertilized eggs under her like what RonC said, you can buy them all over ebay and they send them in the post (they very rarely brake). Good luck
