Broody Hen now gaping

My hen has been broody for a few weeks now,
We keep locking her out of the coop for half the day so she eats and drinks.
She's not laying at all and not sitting on anything.
She gets very angry when I take her out of the nesting box and tries to attack me.
Just now I noticed her opening her beak, like she's gagging.
It happened 4-5 times in 1 minute.
Any ideas???
Help!

Hmm. I don't know what's wrong with her. Did she just drink water? If the drink it to fast they can do that. Could she be hot?

Can you get a video of her actions? Upload video to youtube and provide a link.

Check to make sure her crop is emptying overnight.

So strange... She seems totally fine now. Running around, pecking the ground, harrassing the others. No gaping. Fingers crossed!

Was it hot or warm when she was doing it? She may have been hot, as @Pierre duck drake said.

She may have been adjusting her crop, but it would be a good idea to check to make sure it's emptying overnight.
