Is your broody hen sitting on viable eggs, that you want hatched? If so provide her with a small fenced off area, so she can safely leave the nest to eat, drink and potty.

If you are putting her back with the flock, the "Mean Girl" is the one that needs time out in a dog crate - solitary confinement. After a couple days or so she will loose her high standing with the flock and should have an attitude adjustment., when she goes back.

Hi
thanx for all the responses
No we do not need any hatch-lings and we also do not have a rooster, I have them separated (from chip chip and her box) now so she can eat but she really is not showing much interest in food :(
I let them out to free range for the day mid-morning and just leave the door open so they have access, but when I do she (broody hay hay) just goes back up. When i shut their door she just looks lost and kinda clucks softly like a broken record, well she makes that noise all day non-stop regardless.
